Mr. U. Venkataraman joins the board of White Label E-Systems Private Limited


White Label E-Systems Private Limited proudly announces the inclusion of Mr. U. Venkataraman on its board as a Director.

Mr. Venkataraman, an esteemed professional in the banking and finance sector, brings over three decades of rich experience to the table. A B.B.A. graduate from Madurai Kamaraj University and a CAIIB holder from the Indian Institute of Bankers, began his illustrious career at Syndicate Bank in 1976. Rising rapidly, he became the Chief Dealer in Foreign Exchange by 1990. During 1993-1995, as the Chief Dealer at Syndicate Bank's International Division in Mumbai, he excelled in managing FX spot and forwards, leading a team of expert currency traders.

In 1996, Venkataraman joined IDBI Bank Ltd, heading the Foreign Exchange Market. He expanded his role in 2005 to oversee the Fixed Income Market and Derivatives, eventually leading the Treasury by 2006. His leadership acumen shone brightly in 2008 as CEO and Whole Time Director at MCX Stock Exchange (now Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India), driving it to prominence in exchange-traded currency platforms.

From July 2013 to March 2015, he served as the MD & CEO of MCX-SX Clearing Corporation Limited, where he played a crucial role in shaping the corporation's direction and ensuring compliance with SEBI and RBI regulations.

Apart from his professional accomplishments, Mr. Venkataraman has contributed to academia as a guest faculty at various institutions. He also held the prestigious position of Chairman of the Forex Association of India from January 2001 to December 2002 and was instrumental in organizing the 21st Asia Pacific Conference in 2000 in New Delhi.
